biography

Born in London in 1983, I was brought up in the UK & the US, with an academic background & in Fine Art & Architecture. I create art because I enjoy being innovative and experimental exploring different themes and subjects. My work is simply a tension between the looseness of fine art, and the rigid rules of architecture, essentially chaos vs. order. I use shapes and grids to represent the architectural side and the wild strokes and the scratching of the paint to represent the looseness of the fine art.

Some of the people who have influenced me range from Donald Judd, Herzog & de Meuron Edward Hopper, Jackson Pollock to Banksy to name a few. My most recent work is essentially expressive abstract art and borders between representation and abstraction; I use emotive colours, and textures to express myself in my artwork. My artwork is held in collections within the UK for both corporate and private clients in the UK.
