The Seascape Gallery was formed out of our love for art.
The idea behind the gallery is to provide a greater and wider access to leading established and emerging artists work.
Having searched and travelled across the UK visiting artists, degree shows, Art Fairs, The Seascape Gallery offers carefully selected original fine works of art and features an array of beautiful paintings, ceramics and glass made by the very best British Modern and Contemporary Artists.
It is very satisfying owning an ‘original’. It is something unique which can become very precious and, in some cases profitable. Although we believe you should never buy art for investment but for enjoyment, experts agree that buying art requires a different approach to other investments, with collectors buying art for the love of it and not for resell.
Sotheby’s recently reported that 2005 had been its best year for at least 15 years. It is interesting to note that contemporary art rose more than Old Masters, 55.3% and 49.3% respectively, in the same period.
We believe you’ll be delighted with any piece of art you purchase from the Seascape Gallery, but if you have any second thoughts, just return the artwork within 14 days for a full no quibble refund.
Artwork is also available to be viewed by appointment only and, if within a reasonable distance from our base, then we are more than happy to bring various pieces of artwork to be viewed in your own home.
